NCDOT TO HOLD PUBLIC MEETING REGARDING THE PROPOSAL
TO WIDEN N.C. 115 FROM U.S. 421 TO 2ND STREET IN NORTH WILKESBORO
IN WILKES COUNTY
STIP Project No. R-5759
The N.C. Department of Transportation proposes to widen N.C. 115 from U.S. 421 to 2"d Street
in North Wilkesboro in Wilkes County.
A public meeting will be held from 4-7 p.m. on Tuesday, July 9 at the N.C. DOT Highway Division
11 located at 801 Statesville Road.
The purpose of this meeting is to inform the public of the project and gather input on the
proposed design. As information becomes available, it may be viewed online at the NCDOT
Public Meeting Webpage: http://www.ncdot.gov/news/public-meetings.
The public may attend at any time during the public meeting hours, as no formal presentation
will be made. NCDOT representatives will be available to answer questions and receive
comments. The comments and information received will be taken into consideration as work on
the project develops.
The opportunity to submit written comments will be provided at the meeting or can be done via
phone, email, or mail by July 23, 2019.
