My name is Lee Ward from the Water Management Section of the Directorate of Public Works at Fort Bragg I believe the design engineer for the SOF Battalion Administration Facility project at Fort Bragg has recently been in contact with you in regards to a post -construction stormwater permit. He was informed that the stormwater permit application would have to be notarized before it can be processed for review. However, Ft. Bragg and NC DEQ have had a standing agreement in the past, that our stormwater applications would not require notarization, just an original signature from DPW. This was established based on the fact that Ft. Bragg (DPW specifically) will never relinquish the property in question, the ownership of the permitted project, nor the responsibilities required by the permit. Please let me know if this agreement is no longer the case and will require adjustments to our organization's submittal/application process. Your cooperation in this matter is greatly appreciated. Respectfully, Lee Ward Chief, Water Management Section Directorate of Public Works Fort Bragg, North Carolina Office: (910) 396-2301 Direct: (910) 908-5286 lee.p.ward.civ@mail.mil
