Letter from the IRT in Sept 2014 was requesting explanation for credit differences. Veg: Some supplemental planting occurred in 2018. 3/13 Plots Failed. -Lots of volunteer sweetgum in several plots. -Veg had very low vigor last year. Invasives: dense privet on T2A (treated Dec 2018) Tree fell on fence in T2, area was too wet to get in. Has this been removed and the fence repaired? Streams: T-1 has aggradation for 81% of the reach (KCI says this is a natural function of this system...) -XS-11 3 aggradation Were dead trees removed from the buffer that the landowner dumped? My Field Notes from May 2018: J landing 550 ft of aggradation on T1. 3/13 veg plots not meeting. Dominance of sweetgum on the site. Also XS 8 has a BHR of 1.4 Field: Replanted less than 10%. Lots of sweetgum. Lots of Willow by creek. XS8 looks fine. No downcutting. Dead trees placed inside easement by landowner. VP3 covered in blackberries but they replanted around it. Trees are only 1-2 feet high. I would consider another year of monitoring veg. Streams look good, expressed concern about veg and requested maps and numbers of replanting. Asked that the landowner not dump debris in the easement. OK to release. KCI will send us info on how much was replanted 11 June 2019 Field Notes: Streams look stable and no problems noted, though there is a good amount of sediment passing through the systems Some rose noted along the stream. No other issues - close out as proposed.
