Within 30 days of receiving this notice, you shall do one of the following two options: 1. Submit civil penalty assessment payment: Payment shall be made in the form of a check, money order, or electronic funds transfer made payable to the North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality in the amount of $585.86. Payment resolves this civil penalty; however, it does not prevent further enforcement actions for continuing or new violations.
