Dear Mr. James,
This letter is submitted in lieu of asemi-annual report of facility discharge, as the facility has not had a
noticed discharge from its stormwater pond discharge pipe in the 6 month period ending March 31,
2019 and has not had a noticed discharge from the pond during the 9+ years since the Marine
Maintenance Facility opened. I observe the basin periodically during my many project visits to Bald
Head Island, with departure to and return from the island being through the Deep Point Ferry Terminal.
