The purpose of this letter is to notify you that the North Carolina Ecosystem Enhancement program (NC EEP) is willing to
accept payment for impacts associated with the above referenced project. Please note dear this decision does act assuro that
the payment will be approved by the permit issuing agencies as utitigation for project impacts. It is the responsibility of the
applicant to contact these agencies to determine if payment to the NC EEP will be approved.
This acceptance is valid for six months from the date of this letter. If we hAVe not received a copy of the issued 409
Pertnlt/401 CertlCtcation within this dme fcame, this acceptance will expke, It is the applicant's responsibility to send
copies of the 404/401/CAMA permits to NC EEF. Once NC EEP receives a copy of the 404 Permit and/or the 401
Certification an invoice will ba issued and payment must be made.
Based on the information supplied by you ibe impacts that may require compensatory mitigation are summarized in the
following table.

mitigation will be performed is accordance with the Memorandum of Cladorstanding beta~eon the N. C. Department of
Environment and Natural Resources and the U. 5. Atmy Corps of Engineers dated November 4, 1998.
