I will be distributing updated SMP Sections 7 and 8 for your review and comment by the end of the month.
Also, please expect to receive the entire updated SMP, including appendices, in early August for a 30 -day review period
The FERC Project license requires Cube Yadkin to file the updated SMP by September 22, 2018.

Subject: Yadkin Project - SMP Update
All,
It has been almost a year since we met last to discuss the Yadkin Shoreline Management Plan (SMP) update required by
the FERC Project license. Since the last meeting, we requested and received FERC approval of the SMP modifications
agreed to during relicensing. We began accepting applications under the modified SMP November 1, 2017. We have
also re-established a Yadkin Project SMP website (http://cubecarolinas.com/shoreline-mana eg ment/), which we continue
to build on. All the while, we have been working to update sections of the SMP, as well as the Appendix maps.
As you know, Article 407 requires Cube Yadkin to file an update to the SMP by September 22, 2018 (within two years of
license issuance). To this end, I have attached updated versions of Sections 1 and 2 of the SMP for your review and
comment. Consistent with the approach we previously discussed, over the coming weeks/months, I will distribute
updated sections of the SMP for your review and comment, so stay tuned for more. Please send me any comments on
Sections 1 and 2 by April 30, 2018.
No worries, this is not your only opportunity to comment; you will also be given at least a 30 -day comment period in late
summer to review the updated SMP, in its entirety, before it is filed with FERC.

As the licensee of the Yadkin Project (FERC No. 2197), Cube Yadkin Generation, LLC (Cube) would like to meet to
