Dear Secretary Bose, Director Linton -Peters, Director Culpepper, and Supervisor Higgins:
On September 25, 2018 the City provided notice of its intent to provide an engineering review of the Cube
Yadkin Generation LLC Sedimentation and Flood Plan for Yadkin River Raw Water Intake and Pump Station and
requested the review be considered in your deliberations and decision on whether the plan satisfies requirements
established by Water Quality Certification DWR # 12-0900 Conditions 8 and 9 and by Article 401(a) of the federal
license for Yadkin Hydroelectric Project (No. 2197).
The City expected to provide the review by October 18, 2018, but currently expects to provide the review
by Monday, October 29, 2018. The City regrets any inconvenience caused by the delay and requests that the review
be considered in your deliberations and decision.
