On September 10. 2001. the Division of Water Quality Non Discharge Permitting Unit received your
flow reduction request for future and present. but not yet tributary, single-family dwellings in the Town of
Fuquay-Varina. The letter requests approval of a residential flow value of 220 GPD/residence for these
dwellings.
The information provided water use information for 2000 and actual daily waste water flow recordings

PROJECT NARRATIVE
This project involves the construction of Phase 2 & 3 of a total 205-lot single
family subdivision in Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina and associated utility and
storm drainage infrastructure. Phase 2 & 3 of this development included 128 lots.
Summary of Sewer Lines to be permitted:
• Phase 2: 3,091 LF of 8-inch PVC gravity sewer
• Phase 3: 1,692 LF of 8-inch PVC gravity sewer
Phase 2 & 3: 128 lots @ 300 gpd/lot discharging 38,400 gpd
The sewage and wastewater collected by this system will be treated in the

We are reviewing the subject application. We need clarification on the receiving WWTP. The FTSE form that was
submitted shows N. Harnett WWTP as the receiving WWTP. However, the narrative states Terrible Creek is the receiving
WWTP, then right below it states N. Harnett is the WWTP, along with its permit number. Item IVA also notes N. Harnett
is the WWTP.
Please clarify which is the correct receiving WWTP.
If the receiving WWTP is N. Harnett, we'll need a FTSE form signed by Harnett Co. and submitted.
If the receiving WWTP is Terrible Creek, we'll need a FTSE form showing this.
