Richard Massey's and your cooperation during the site visit was much appreciated. Please advise the staff involved with this NPDES Permit by forwarding a copy of this letter report. The reconnaissance visit was conducted to verify that the coal ash wastewater treatment unit and its associated outfall 002, have been taken out of service. The site visit confirmed that the treatment has been disassembled and removed. The individual components were cleaned by Haz-Mat Environmental between March 21 and May 6, 2019. Furthermore, the influent and effluent piping have been disconnected eliminating discharge via outfall 002 (see photo below).
