This office has reviewed the subject Sedimentation and Erosion Control Permit
Application, We find the application to be acceptable and hereby issue this letter of
approval. If any stipulations or recommendations are applicable, a list is attached and is
incorporated as a part of this letter of approval, Pursuant to Section 3.8,5 of the Durham
Cit)-C'ounq, Unified Development Ordinance, plans for which no permit has been issued
shall expire a ne.y°ear.from the approval date.
Please be advised that a copy of the approved plan must be on file at the job site, and a
land-disturbing permit must be obtained and prominently displayed, Pursuant to C1.S.
11324-61 (d) and Section 1.5.5.1 of the Durham City-Coat rty Unified Development
Ordinance, you are hereby notified that the S"edhnentation and Erosion Control Qt

the right to, inspect the site over the life of the project to insure compliance with the
approved plan and ordinance.
The. Sedimentation and Erosion Control grogram is perforniance oriented, requiring
protection of the natural resources and adjoining properties. If following the
commencement of this project it is detennined that the sedimentation and erosion control

NCGO10000 Reguirements
As of April 1, 2,019, all new construction activities are required to complete and submit an
electronic Notice of Intent (NOI) fonri requesting a Certificate of Coverage (COC) under
the NCGO 10000 Construction Stop-riwater General Pen-nit. 'This forin MUST be submitted
prior to the commencernent of any land disturbing activity on the above named project.
The NOI form may be accessed at .d-��qnc. Yov/NCGOI. Please direct questions about the
NOI forrn to Annette Lucas at Alliiette.Iti�,,as(ifitiedic or Paul Clark at
Paul.clark pL)y�. After you submit a complete and correct NOI Form, a COC will
be emailed to you within three business days. Initially, DEMLR will not charge a fee for
coverage under the NCGO I pen-nit, However, on or after May 1, 2019, a $100 fee will be
charged annually. This fee is to be sent to the DEMLR Storinwater Central Office staff in
Raleigh.
Title 15A NCAC 4B .01 18(a) and the NCGOI permit require that the following
documentation be kept on file at the job site:
1. The approved E&SC plan as well as any approved deviation.
2. The NCGOI permit and the COC, once it is received,
3. Records of inspections made during the previous 30 days.
It should also be noted that approval of an erosion control plan does not in any way
indicate approval of, or authorization to begin installation of Stormwater
infrastructure without City/County approved Construction Drawings.
