SUBJECT: Compliance Inspection
Luther Beaman Swine Operation
Greene County
On December 10, 1992, Scott Jones and Robert Tankard, DEM Staff of
the Washington Regional Office, visited the Luther Beaman Swine
Operation. The purpose of this visit was to determine whether or
not the aforementioned facility was in compliance with its CAFO
Designation effective July 19, 1991.
As a result of this inspection it has been found that the Luther
Beaman Swine Operation was in compliance at the time of inspection.
There were no discharges found at the time of inspection. Mr.
Beaman has removed the discharge pipe previously mentioned in the
designation. The facility has added a new lagoon and waste from
the houses is collected and pumped to the lagoon.
