Dear Mr. Keeter:
On January 3, 2007, the Division of Water Quality received your request for an extension for the
submittal of the Tar-Pamlico Buffer restoration plan for Tract 1 due to holiday scheduling constraints.
The extension was requested until February 2, 2007. The North Carolina Division of Water Quality
hereby grants an extension for this parcel until February 2, 2007. Please be aware that no further
restoration plan extensions will be granted by the Division of Water Quality
The Division of Water Quality has determined the following:
1) An extension will be granted until February 2, 2007 for the NOV response items originally
requested for this tract.
If the requested response is not received, this Office will make a recommendation for enforcement to the
Director of the Division of Water Quality regarding these issues and any future/continued violations that
may be encountered. Your above-mentioned response to this correspondence will be considered in this
process. This Office requires that the violations, as detailed above, be abated immediately. These
violations and any future violations are subject to civil penalty assessment of up to $25,000.00 per day for
