RE: Hannah Bridge As -built Walk Thru Follow -Up Memo (DWR # 2017-0537v2)
Ms. Merritt,
In response to your email dated May 28, 2019, regarding the incomplete required items at
Hannah Bridge Mitigation Site, RES has prepared this memo to address the following points
with RES' responses written in blue:
1. Easement placards were not installed to clearly identify the easement. Install conservation
easement placards identifying the easement boundaries around the entire site.
Conservation easement placards were installed along the entire easement boundary on
May 30, 2019. Photos are on Page 2.
2. Encroachment within a nutrient offset area was observed. Identify the area (square feet)
along the ditch that was encroached/mowed within the easement & nutrient offset credit
area. Replant with approved species and install visual easement markers identifying the
area. Add flagging to each stem planted.
The encroachment area was approximately 8,712 square feet. On May 30, 2019, the area
was replanted, and the boundary was marked with t -posts, easement placards, and horse
fence tape. Each planted stem was marked with flagging. Photos are on Page 3.
Please let me know if you need any additional information.
Thank you,
