Quality Impacts)
W-5706C is an intersection improvement project that involves converting the intersection of NC 41 and NC 410 to a roundabout. Existing drainage patterns have been
maintained, and rip rap pads were used at pipe outlets to reduce flow velocity. Due to the proposed alignment of -Y1-, the special lateral ditch from 18+09 to 18+83 -Y1-LT will
create permanent wetland impacts. The proposed ditch replaces an existing roadway ditch, and 3:1 slopes were used to reduce impacts.
