Dear Mr. CSabasmger,
This letter is in response to NOV-2019-LV-0296, flow limit exceedances experienced at our
Grassy Branch WRF, dated April 23, 2019.
In our meeting on 05/02/19, we detailed our continuing efforts in reducing the I&I that is entering
the Grassy Branch collection system. In addition to our in-house efforts, we have engaged our
CIP engineers to investigate other options such as flow equalization basins to improve the
ability of the Grassy Branch WRF to manage high flows. We have also engaged Frazier
Engineer in another sequence of flow monitoring to gain a better understanding of where the I&I
is occurring.
We intend to continue our efforts finding and addressing I&I in the Grassy Branch basin. If you
have any questions or concerns please contact me at 704-296-4215.
Sincerely,
