Site Inspection #WT002663 New Hanover County Dear Mr. Dunn: On March 4, 2019, Brian Lambe from the Wilmington Regional Office of the Division of Energy, Mineral, and Land Resources (DEMLR), conducted a compliance evaluation inspection for DPD Team Concrete located in 153 Finley Lane, Onslow County, North Carolina. The site drains to Northeast Creek, which is currently classified as Class SC, NSW Waters in the Cape Fear River Basin. The industrial process that you are engaged in requires a NPDES General Stormwater Permit NCG140000 Ready Mix Concrete Products. Please submit a Notice of Intent within 15 days. Upon receipt of the NOI, an inspector will inspect the site and review permit requirements. The permit will require: 1) Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SPPP) 2) Qualitative Monitoring and Analytical Monitoring 3) Yearly Permit Fee Thank you for your assistance and cooperation during this inspection. Please be advised that violations of the NPDES Stormwater General Permit may be subject to a civil penalty assessment of up to $25,000.00 per day for each violation.
