I reported my swine lagoon (ASW670041) as out of compliance. The
level being 18.5 inches of freeboard. This was on May 31,2018.
The reason for the deficiency was an abundance of rain that finally
overtook my ability to maintain the lagoon level .
Once I reported the deficiency the weather cooperated and I was able
to pump on all fields to get the lagoon level into compliance. This was
reported on April 28, 2018.
I also purchased a diesel lagoon pump which allowed me to double
the amount that I could pump. I can now use 4 risers instead of 2,
at the same pressures and rate of flow.
I also got a reel, which I have been unable to put into operation
due to the weather and using the irrigation system to get the lagoon
into compliance.
