Concerning impacts to streams within the context of the discussion, I was attempting to obtain an estimate from DOT
relative to linear feet of stream impacts so that we could determine the likelihood of placing the project on the Merger
path. As it was, there were no estimates.
In regards to Hazardous Spill Basins, DOT would need to provide data to DWR to support any reasoning why such basins
would/could not be constructed prior to 401 Certification. This issue has no bearing on the Merger path decision.
