3. 401/404 WQC applied for on 04/30/2019. Variance Application amended with this information.
4. Permittee -responsible mitigation is no long proposed. Purchase of buffer mitigation credits is
proposed. An SOA from a private mitigation bank is included with the Variance application and
the application is amended to reflect this change.
a. Mitigation within a utility easement is no longer proposed. See Plan Sheet 3.
b. Permittee -responsible mitigation is no longer proposed. Landscape planting plans are
included in the project documentation. See Plan Sheet 2, 3, and 5.
5. The variance application has been amended to reflect changes to the proposed stormwater
management plan. All stormwater management will be accomplished with a single rain garden.
See Plan Sheet 3.
a. Splash pads or rain barrels are no longer proposed. Stormwater management will be
accomplished with a single rain garden. A buried downspout drain will be intercepted
and disconnect from the stream routing 1,385sf of imperviousness to the proposed rain
garden with a total capture volume of 110cf. Proposed new imperviousness added to
the buffer is equal to 128sf with a water quality volume of 10cf. See Sheet 3 and 6.
b. See response to 5a and Plan Sheet 3 and 6.
c. The proposed rain garden has been moved out of Zone 1 of the buffer. See Plan Sheet 3.
All changes to the proposed plans are documented in the variance application. Please contact Simon
