Notes, Sketch, Action Items, etc.:
High diversity & density wetland herb plants
Veg/soil removal annually keeping channel open (small soil piles on bank) - 1'W - concern about seeing a false trajectory of site
development
Wildlands response - Canopy cover development /shading response
Todd response - no more "maintenance" for 2019-2020
Compare to as -built?
Slope is present, seep fed
Asian spiderwort within channel
Power line ROW woody veg cut to <1', herb cover still abundant, low disturbance footprint
Wetland soil profiles (2) in Vicinity of soil profile near gauge 3 - redox present (1 photo for each profile)
Gauge 34 area will be removed (upland)
Soil profile 3 near gauge 13 (2 photos)
Soil profile 4 near gauge 35 (2 photos)
Soil profile 5 near gauge 27 (3 photos)
Soil profile 6 near PP -25 (2 photos)
Soils 5 & 6 - wetter, more clay, abundant mottles
Large re-seeding/re-plant buffer area - looks better
Channel concerns - no bedform diversity, habitat, low flow, coarse substrate, shading
Add continuous flow gauge to main channel (near Neuse)
Credit release - buffer better so release stream, but may delay close out; wetland soils look ok but based on hydro still at risk,
keep at risk area (unreleased 2.95)
Credit Release/Site Closeout Information (for monitoring or closeout reviews only)

Warm Cool Cold
Riparian Riverine Riparian Non-Riverine Non -Riparian Coastal
