NOTICE OF A CITIZENS INFORMATIONAL WORKSHOP
FOR THE PROPOSED WIDENING OF US 13 FROM SR 1560 (ROYALL AVENUE)
TO NORTH OF SR 1003 (NEW HOPE ROAD)

GOLDSBORO, WAYNE COUNTY
The North Carolina Department of Transportation will hold an informal Citizens
Informational Workshop on the subject project on August 31, 2009, from 4:00 PM to
7:00 PM at the Faith Alliance Church,3203 Cashwell Drive, Goldsboro. The Workshop
will be held between the hours of 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.
This will be an open house meeting; interested citizens may attend at their
convenience during the above hours. Department of Transportation representatives will
be present to answer questions and receive comments concerning the project.
Information presented at this workshop will be general in nature, as detailed plans have
not been prepared for the project. The current schedule will also be discussed.
The proposed project involves the widening of US 13 to a multi-lane facility. The
project may require the purchase of additional right of way and the relocation of homes
and businesses.
