Vicinity maps are enclosed. . A detailed site map is enclosed showing boundaries of my lot. Development plans do not impact surrounding properties except to the extent my stabilization materials meet my neighbors'. Stabilization will occur only on my ~146.61 feet of shoreline. . All maps include a scale and a north arrow. . Item 7 info: There will be no sub aqueous fill except for 2 to 3 feet of rip rap so the square footage will be approximately 360 square feet. Rip rap will be placed on existing "beached out" area. . Item 8a info: We will need to contour some of the bank along the shoreline above full pond so rip rap and other materials will remain in place. The bank along the shoreline has varying heights (approx 3 ft up to approx 9 feet above full pond) so using an average of 6 feet and allowing for an additional contouring area of about 3 feet above that the square footage of impact above full pond and 50 feet landward is approximately 1,323; round up to 1,500 square feet. . Item 8b info: Shoreline vegetation includes various indigenous low-growing bushes (rhododendron, mountain laurel, etc.) and a few trees (hardwood & evergreen), To stabilize there will be some contouring of the bank in order to hold rip rap and mulch. This may require the removal of some trees (maybe 6-8 of varying sizes) in the immediate area of the contouring. There will also be some removal of the low growing vegetation. We plan to minimize removal of vegetation and trees. · Photos of the subject shoreline are enclosed. For scaling purposes, my wife is shown in the pictures and is 5'7". I have placed an "x" at the approximate property lines. August 30, 2005 ~1W~P m~@~o\'ll~@ SEP 6 2005 DENR - WATER QUALITY WETlANDS AND STORMWATER BRANCH ~c VV\ v. l6...v j ^ 2, U-""" ~ tt Michael F. Your submitted application lacks the primary details needed in order for that application to be processed. The details lacking are: · A vicinity map clearly showing the location of the property with respect to local landmarks such as towns, rivers, and roads. · A detailed site plan showing property boundaries and development plans in relation to surrounding properties. o Both the vicinity map and site plan must include a scale and north arrow. · Application item number 7, asks for amount of impact in square feet or acres. Your submitted application only reflects linear feet. You must amend this to account for the amount of sub aqueous fill in square f~et. · Application item number 8. a. asks for the amount of impact above full pool in square feet. Again, your submission reflects linear distance on impact, and not the area of shoreline above full pool impacted. · Application item number 8. b. asks for a description of shoreline vegetation. You do not provide any such description in your submitted application. · Lastly, photographs (including some item of reference for scale (such as a shovel handle) would expedite any future permit submission.
