Gentlemen:
We have a swine producer who plans to finish
out 1800 head of hogs in confinement houses. His lagoon
has been designed by the Soil Conservation Service. He
would like to know if he is required to have a permit to
build his lagoon from your office.
Could you please respond of any regulation you
have about a permit for building a lagoon? The local
Farmers Home Administration Office suggested that he
might need a permit.
