The proposed project includes the construction of an office/retail building (approximately 22,700 S.F., already constructed and in service) and a residential building (approximately 110,500 S.F.). Public Utilities, including Public Sewer, are proposed to be extended as a part of this project to serve the proposed residential building. The original sewer design has changed because of local regulatory issues and to achieve cost savings. The proposed design now serves the residential building from the rear of the site, with a Public Manhole in the railroad right-of-way. Approximately 115 linear feet of 8" DI sewerline in a 16" steel encasement is proposed. As per OWASA requirements, all of the proposed lines and appurtances will be constructed in accordance with the NCDENR and OWASA standards and specifications. Sincerely, Chuck Hill P.E.
