I appreciate you bringing it up! This is a call that could go either way, especially since we're just doing a PJD. In this case let's leave it off the map. If I had evidence that this feature was in an area likely to contain wetlands or streams then I would make a different call. Hopefully this makes sense. Feel free to call or email if you'd like to discuss further for this or any other project. -Dave Bailey --- David E. The topo maps support that conclusion. I just wanted to make sure that you all had reviewed that area since it does have some characteristics of streams and wetlands. Thanks. We drove past that area a few times in the field, and it looked like a ditch cut (a long long time ago) through uplands, which wouldn't be jurisdictional if that were the case. Does the ditch carry flow from a stream or wetland, or is there any evidence that the ditch was cut through a stream or wetlands? Thanks. -Dave Bailey --- David E. This site runs parallel to the road on the north side of US 311 between NC 14 and Thompson Street. It is approximately 308 feet total with a tree line located approximately at the midway point. The pictures are described and ordered going upstream from Thompson Street to the tree line to NC 14 and then going downstream from NC 14 to the tree line to Thompson Street. Let me know if you have any questions. 2 Jerry Parker Environmental Supervisor Division 7 North Carolina Department of Transportation 336 256 2063 office jparker@ncdot.gov <mailto:jparker@ncdot.gov> 1584 Yanceyville St. P.O.
