Notes, Sketch, Action Items, etc.:
Encroachment - 2 rows planted, additional signage installed
Minor scour along R2 & upper R3
R2 & R4 confluence - watch parallel streams (one higher in elevation)
Low cover areas of trees/herbs in floodplain
Upper R3 - numerous tadpoles and fish observed
Mid R3 - hurricane sediment deposition, 50-100' length of significant aggradation, watch to make sure system flushes
Lower R3 - changed to multi thread system at as -built, adjacent ditch filled, stream development - passive restoration?
- braided stream or headwater valley or wetland; functional uplift?
- system enhancement vs. restoration; wetland present pre -construction
- intent/goal of mit plan design vs. "expected condition/natural process" changes post -construction
R4 - flow gauge located in pool (single gauge site)
Upper R4 - more enhancement than restoration in top 50-100'; may need supplemental seeding/planting
