Also, recall the DSO includes the following: The dam owners shall within 91 days of the issuance of this order, submit to this office plans, specifications, and supporting data developed by a professional engineer for the necessary maintenance, repair, alteration, or reconstruction to this dam or for the breach of this dam in such a manner that will preclude the washing of sediment downstream. The reservoir levels are decreasing and we would like to implement the next stage of the dewatering plan. NCDEQ-Water Quality and ACOE have been notified of the fill placement within the reservoir.
