Importance: High
Due to high water levels the contractor on Onslow 134 is requesting approval to drive temporary sheeting in wetlands
on EB 2 for the construction of the cap for the temporary detour. The cap is 35 ft. long so the sheeting will need to be
45 ft. in length and will be angled back into the temporary fill on the South side and existing roadway fill on the North
side as shown on the attached figures The sheeting will placed at the hand clearing limits and will remain in place until
the temporary detour is removed. The temporary impacts will be approximately 0.003 acres and will not change the
projects overall existing authorized impacts.
Please let me know if we can approved this under a field adjustment or if we need to go through a formal permit
modification request. The contractor is currently on hold until we can get this approved. The project is authorized
under USACE Al is SAW 2017-02381 and the DWR No. is 2017-02381.
