Specifically describe measures taken to avoid or minimize the proposed impacts in designing project. Sidewalk was designed to cross the street over the culvert and make use of existing an existing sidewalk, thereby avoiding additional impacts to the buffer on the other side of the stream. All impacts were also kept within the right of way. 1 b. Specifically describe measures taken to avoid or minimize the proposed impacts through construction techniques. The proposed pipe will be put in place of an existing eroded ditch. The ditch may then be filled and revegetated . This should minimize the impact of erosion through the buffer. All equipment will remain in the right of way and no unnecessary vegetation will be removed. 2. Compensatory Mitigation for Impacts to Waters of the U.S. or Waters of the State 2a.
