On May 9, 2019, the Mooresville Regional Office (MRO) performed a site inspection of the Remediation
System at the General Electric, Hickory Plant, located at 1223 Fairgrove Church Road, Catawba County to
determine compliance with remediation activities as per permit #NC0076643. Enclosed is a copy of the
site inspection report.
At the time of the inspection, the system was online and performing at levels consistent with the active
permit for this facility. Laboratory data indicate the system is being effective in the reduction of the TICE
and TCA constituents. Continued monitoring of the system is recommended.
