Mr. Edwards said that both blowers had been tripping out due to overheating, but that issue has now been corrected and now he is getting lower ammonia numbers in the effluent. The equalization basin had 7000 gallons pumped out of it, but there is still a lot of grease in it. Mr. Edwards said that it is scheduled to be pumped again on 5/7/19. *On 5/8/19 I visited the WWTP again and the EQ basin had been pumped out again. This time the EQ basin was relatively clear of grease and rags.* The sampling is still not flow proportional and there is no indication of any progress toward flow proportional sampling. The tertiary filters are still broken. Mr. Edwards says he is researching a solution for them. Mr. Edwards reports that he is still having daily flows that exceed the permitted flow, despite relatively dry weather in the last couple weeks. The collection system needs to be thoroughly inspected for sources of I&I. NC0089095 17 (Cont.) Mr. Edwards said that the basin had 7000 gallons pumped out of it on 5/1/19. There is still a substantial amount of grease remaining and it is scheduled to be pumped out again on 5/7/19. Is the air scour operational? Is the scouring acceptable? Is the clear well free of excessive solids and filter media?
