On 4/30/2019 5:37 PM, Haiqing Kaczkowski wrote: Good Evening, Heather, We placed the revised fill templates (dated 22 April) on the latest orthophoto, and generated the plane view drawings per your request. The drawings are labeled as Sheets 03-06 to replace those sheets in the bid document (dated 15 Feb 2018). The MHW survey conducted by GeoDynamics on 30 March 2019 is also shown on the sheets and represented by red lines. Due to the file size, I am sending Sheets 03-04 with this email, and Sheets 05-06 in a separate email. As you know, the actual fill templates have to be adjusted in the field as work progresses due to the dynamic nature of Nags Head beach and also for GLDD to complete the exact contract quantity (ie - 4 million cy). But that kind of field adjustment is expected to be minimal. If there are any significant changes of the beach condition between now and the time of construction, and if any new fill templates are issued to the Contractor, I will make sure that you are copied and have time to review the revisions. Field plans for dune construction around existing walkovers and properties (along the last one mile of south Nags Head) will be summarized in "GLDD Letter 01 ", as referred on Sheet 06. The Town of Nags Head and GLDD are working on the language for the letter, and it will be submitted to you once it is finalized. Please let me know if you have any questions or need additional information from us. By the way, Josh is going to be on board of the Ellis Island tomorrow morning to conduct the hopper dredge inspection. If everything works well as planned, Nags Head is anticipated to receive the first load of sand some time tomorrow afternoon. The discharge point is located at south of Limulus Street beach access around Mile Post —20, if you have a chance to visit.
