Typical Cross Section Description:
2-10' asphalt paved lanes with 2' to 6' paved shoulders and 3' to 4' grass shoulders.
Ditches in all four quadrants are modified to have front slopes of 3:1 or flatter.
2-10' paved lanes with grass shoulders. Roadside ditches exist in all four quadrants,
but all four ditches dissipate before discharging into White Swamp.

General Project Narrative:
(Description of Minimization of Water
Quality Impacts)
State project 17BPA.R.95 involves the replacement of Wilson County Bridge #0105 on SR 1418 (Bridgersville Rd.) over White Swamp. The existing bridge consists of 1 @ 37'-
0", 1 @ 37'-3",reinforced concrete (RC) deck thru girder, RC abutments and RC piers. It is to be replaced with a 1 @ 45'-0", 1 @ 55'-0" 21" cored slab bridge at the same
location.
The proposed bridge does not contain deck drains. All storm water from the bridge and approaches will be collected by concrete flumes and discharged at the toe of slope into
Class 'I' rip -rap in all four quadrants. The roadside ditches in all four quadrants will be impacted. The redesigned ditches match the existing drainage patterns and dissipate
before discharging into White Swamp. All three ditches will be special lateral V-ditches with 3:1 or flatter front slopes and 3:1 back slopes.
