Dear Ms. Sanchez King:
I am in receipt of your letter dated May 8, 2018.
The situation in which one of my two lagoons (the smaller one) went out of compliance on
January 24, 2018 was the result of two primary issues.
1) My pump that serves that farm was in the repair shop being re -built. It was returned
to me in early February. I am attaching a copy of the repair invoice.
2) We received more than 2" of rain on January 24 at that farm.
With my pump being offsite, I was not able to take the immediate corrective actions such
as transferring water to my larger adjacent lagoon. So, as we worked to move a pump from
another farm, I also submitted the 30 day POA.
The situation was rectified with responsible application onto my wheat and cover crop in
February.
