Tryon Street, ST06A Charlotte, NC 28202 Phone: 980-373-8113 Email. george.hamrickOduke-eneigy.com Consistent with Duke Energy's November 13, 2015 letter to the department transmitting an update to the Excavation Plans for Asheville Steam Electric Generating Plant, Dan River Combined Cycle Station, Riverbend Steam Station, and L.V. Sutton Electric Plant, please find attached Duke Energy's 2016 updates to these plans. As we explained in our November 2015 transmittal letter, and noted in each of the Excavation Plans, Duke Energy intends to update the plans annually. As reflected in the attached updates, Duke Energy has acted diligently and in good faith throughout the past year to meet its closure obligations at these four high -priority sites in a reasonable, prudent, and cost-effective manner. Another update to each of the Excavation Plans will be provided to the department no later than December 31, 2017.
