(Description of Minimization of Water
Quality Impacts)
State project U-4906 involves widening SR 1308 (Gum Branch Road) from the west of Mills Fields Road (SR 1313) to East of Ramsey Road (SR 1324), adding 2 foot paved
shoulders to each side of Gum Branch Road, and improving intersections at Cow Horn Road, Quaker Bridge Road, Mendover Drive, and Ramsey Road. There are three
existing crossings at Unnamed Tributaries to the New River. Wetlands present within the project area.
