Explain the purpose of the proposed project: To prevent bank erosion, specifically around the foundation of an existing structure adjacent to the creek. Please see photos attached for erosion and exposure of the building foundation. 3e. Describe the overall project in detail, including the type of equipment to be used: The project will repair and replace an existing CIP retaining wall in the same foot print and length as the existing wall. Additionally the project will install a boulder fill slope against the foundation of the building to protect it from undermining. Late model excavators will access the project from the channel. A stone access bed is planned to be constructed in the channel and removed and restored back to natural bed elevations under the direction of the designer post construction. Equipment will be removed from the water at the end of each days work. Because of the large CFS in this stream we ask that the requirement to work in the dry be waived. 4.
