I reviewed the documents for Sandhorn Mine today. The mine permit has been issued and the mine has begun work. I
attached Connor's inspection reports.
The Sandhorn Mine, 10-95 and NCG020933, is surrounded by wetlands, making erosion control BMPs imperative. The
site has just been logged as evident on google earth. I am unsure how it was approved with the access road in the buffer
zone. The O&M pumping plan seemed reasonable.
