Dear Ms. Jones:
On behalf of the NC Division of Water Resources, we respectfully request that you consider the
following comments within your review of the 404 Individual Permit request for the above referenced
property:
1. The minimum flow release schedule that has been proposed is not in accordance with previous
comments provided by the Division and other resource agencies. As proposed, the project will
not meet downstream water quality standards and must be modified. The Division
recommends scheduling a meeting between the applicant, their agents, and the permitting and
resource agencies prior to resubmitting a modified minimum flow release schedule.
The Division has requested additional information from the applicant (attached) and requests
that the USACE review and consider the applicant's response prior to issuing any authorizations
for this project.
