Please find attached a completed Storm Water Permit rescission request form for Sonoco Products Company —
Forest City Plant located at 681 Piney Ridge Road. A hard copy of the form is being sent to your attention today.
The plant was closed during 2018 and all activities have ceased such that no discharges of stormwater are
contaminated by exposure to industrial activities or materials.
I am providing this information as formal notification and as instructed to waive payment of the annual permit
fee. Unless advised otherwise we will disregard paying invoice 2019PR001799 for calendar year 2019.
If you have any questions and/or we need to take further action please do not hesitate to contact me.

Per our conversation below is a hyperlink to the Rescission Request form.
Rescind an Existing Industrial Permit
Complete the Rescission Request Form and mail one hard copy of the form to Suzanne McCoy, 1612 MSC,
Raleigh, NC 27699-1612. In addition, e-mail the form to Suzanne McCoy. There is no fee for industrial permit
rescissions. Please note that it can take 1-2 months to process the request because we cannot rescind the permit
until DEQ staff conduct a site visit.
