WRC does not object to the contractor pulling sheet pile up to 2 weeks after the
February 15 in water work moratorium for this project.

Stephen,
Per our earlier conversation regarding Bridge 249 on Hawkins Beach Road in Beaufort
County, the contractor has asked to have some relief on the front end of the
moratorium in order the to remove sheeting from around the end bents of the
permanent structure. Like we discussed yesterday, the contractor will install the
sheeting prior to the beginning of the moratorium to facilitate the unclassified structure
excavation and would like to remove the sheeting up to 2 weeks after the moratorium is
in effect. While the sheeting is still in place, the contractor will complete all work
required by the plans for this structure. Once all work has been completed, the
contractor will remove all of the sheeting using a track excavator or the crane, no
vibratory hammer will be used to remove the sheeting."
