Hello,
I visited the site on 3/26/19 with 2 Republic representatives present. They had already walked the site prior to my arrival
and understood that just as in 2014 when Samir denied the company's rescission request, that the permit continues to be
required until the exposures have been removed from the property, or someone were to purchase the site, and then we
re-evaluate the proposed use, permitting, etc. with the new owner.
As Matt Einsmann, PE stated prior to leaving the site review, that it's the company's intent to place the property for sale on
the market, and with a little cleanup, the metal structure seemed just as stable as when they had left it. He also stated that
this gated property would make a nice business or shop for someone.
Mr, Einsmann has my number and stated that I would be contacted when the cleanup has been completed, so that I can re-
evaluate the site prior to a rescission recommendation.
I asked if the company would cut the small trees and brush from the site? Mr. Einsmann stated that Republic would cut the
property upon the buyers request.
My estimate is that with proper equipment, the site could be cleaned and cleared within a day, or so.
