Franco Single-Family Residence Wastewater Irrigation
Wake County
Dear Mr. and Mrs. Franco:
Wake County Department of Environmental Services, on behalf of the Division of Water Resources,
performed a compliance evaluation inspection of the subject Single-Family Residence Wastewater
Irrigation system on March 20, 2019. This follow-up inspection was made in reference to the violations
cited in NOV-2018-PC-0440 and to confirm that repair of the irrigation supply line was performed. The
following items specify permit conditions and limitations that were in violation during the time of
inspection:
OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE REQUIREMENTS
Condition II.I. which states, "The facilities shall be properly operated and maintained at all times."
Violations of this condition are as follows:
1. When the irrigation system was pressurized only three spray heads operated properly. All heads
must be cleaned, repaired, replaced or otherwise remedied such that all sprinkler heads
operate as designed.
You are required to take the necessary action to correct the above violations immediately and to
provide a written response to this Notice within thirty (30) days of receipt. Please include in your
response all corrective actions that you performed on the system to correct the violations.
Failure to comply with conditions in a permit may result in a recommendation of enforcement action,to the
Director of the Division of Water Resources who may issue a civil penalty assessment of not more that
twenty-five thousand($25,000)dollars against any"person'who violates or fails to act in accordance with
the terms, conditions,or requirements of a permit under authority of G.S. 143-215.6A.
