Chris Callaway -Assistant Vice President and Director of Design and Real Estate Wal-Mart Stares East, LP 2001 S.E. 10"' Street Bentonville, AR 72716 Subject Property: WaI-Mart Supercenter No. 4459-00 Ut to S#ony Creek [030302, 28-68, C, NSW] REQUEST FOR MORE INFORMATION Dear Mr. Callaway: On January 26, 2007, the Division of Water Quality (DWQ) received your application dated January 2S, 2007, to impact 0.085 acres of 404/wetland and 818 linear feet of intermittent stream to construct the proposed retail shopping center. The DWQ has~determined that your application was incomplete and/or provided inaccurate information as discussed below. The DWQ will require additional information in order #o process your application to impact protected wetlands and/or streams on the subject property. Therefore, unless we receive five copies of the additional information requested below, we will have to move toward denial of your application as required by 1 SA NCAC 2H .0506 and will place this project on hold as incomplete until we receive this additional information. Please provide the following information so that we may continue to review your project. Additional Information Requested: 1. Please provide a qualitative indirect and cumulative impact analysis for the project. 2. This Office reeomrnends that biaretention cell No. 8 should be a constructed wetland. Please contact the DWQ within three weeks of the date of this letter to verify that you have received this. letter and that you remain interested in continuing to pursue permitting of your project and will be providing the DWQ the requested information at a later date. Please contact me in writing and Mike Horan of the DWQ Raleigh Regional Office.
