Hey Garrett,
As discussed earlier today, based on my site visit this a.m., the project site actually drains towards Mill Creek to the
south, and not towards Old Topsail Creek. The attached photo is taken from an existing culvert located on the south
side of Forest Sound Road facing south towards a stream, which is the source to Mill Creek (see attached GIS and LIDAR
maps).

Hi Robb,
I am working on a project in Hampstead and I was hoping to get your opinion on the receiving stream. I have attached
the site plan and the Surface Water Classification sheet provided with the application for you to take a look at. They are
claiming the site drains to Old Topsail Creek (18-87-12), however since the outlet from the SCM drains into the wetlands
on the back side of the lot, I am not sure that it would make it to Old Topsail Creek. Additionally, speaking with Christine,

the Sparrows Bend project, which is located about 0.3 miles north of this site, drains north to Godfrey Creek, which
makes me think this site might also drain north. Any information you can provide would be much appreciated.
On a side note, just so you are aware, this project is proposing to fill a small portion of the wetlands on the property,
which can be seen on the site plan.
