D. Impact Justification and Mitigation
1. Avoidance and Minimization
1 a. Specifically describe measures taken to avoid or minimize the proposed impacts in designing project.
The proposed culvert installation is to allow a single crossing as needed to develop the opposite side of the stream and then install a sewer line for the
proposed development. The proposed culvert and sewer crossing have been designed to minimize the proposed impacts to the stream by avoiding
excessive construction in the vicinity of the crossings.
1 b. Specifically describe measures taken to avoid or minimize the proposed impacts through construction techniques.
Skimmer Basins, Buffering, Silt fencing, temporary & permanent diversion ditches, and other best management practices will be used to prevent
sediment from impacting the unnamed tributary.
