General Project Narrative: The North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) has proposed to replace Union County Bridge #358 on Buford Short Cut Rd (SR 2149) over Adams Branch. The
(Description of Minimization of Water existing structure is a single span bridge (1 @25'-3") timber deck on steel I-beams. The proposed structure is a single span bridge (1 @65') 24" cored slab deck w/4.0' deep caps.
