Matt,
That is an appropriate third option, which I obviously failed to consider and offer in my previous e-mail. I appreciate your
diligence. If I can be of any assistance, please contact me.
Thanks,
Mike

Mike,
Due to the fact that we have limited space, that area has always been used for rack storage, our plan is the following:
1. We will add analytical monitoring on outfall 001 for one year to determine like results to outfall 002.
2. If these are similar, given that like materials and activities are in the area, we will then fill out the ROS request
form for approval by your office.
Thanks

Matt,
The concern I have is that stormwater runoff/drainage from the areas where the metal racks and empty totes as well as
the dumpsters are placed could flow toward and discharge through outfall 1. If this is the case, monitoring would need
to start being conducted for outfall 1 in addition to outfall 2. Otherwise, you would need to demonstrate through
surveyed elevations/contours that the areas in question cannot drain to outfall 1 or you could relocate the materials.

Mike,
Thanks for the report. I'm not sure how to fill out the ROS request form. The two outfalls are not representative of each
other. Outfall 002 receives stormwater from the back pad, while outfall 001 receives stormwater from the employee
parking lot. I don't know if I would be able to say that they have either the same activities, materials, or results. Please
advise. Thanks.

Matt,
Please see attached stormwater inspection report for your files. Original mailed out to Mr. Cain.
Also attached is the Representative Outfall Status (ROS) Request Form, which is referenced in the Inspection Summary
on page 2 of the report. We did not discuss this option during the inspection, but based on the amount of material
stored outside near outfall 1, 1 recommend that the form be completed and mailed back to me. I would then provide a
letter back that grants ROS to outfall 2 so that there's no questions in the future about not monitoring outfall 1. Contact
me if there are any questions or we need to discuss further.
Thanks,
Mike
