Dear Mr. Beasley:
Can July 24, 2000, staff- from the Fayetteville Regional Office of the
Division of Water Quality inspected the Yorick shine facility. It was
obsen ed that waste samples had not been collected within the required
timeframes and saplings were growing on the lagoon dikes.
In regard to the deficiencies noted during the inspection, the follov:ing
actions are requested:
1 _ Remove the young trees (saplings) from the lagoon banks.
2. Collect waste samples within 60 days of waste application or every
120 days (quarterly) to insure compliance_
Nothing in this letter should be taken as absolving this facility of the
responsibility and liability of any violations that have or may result from
these deficiencies. ' ,
